David Busch Mosher

David entered Yale in September 1963 after attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute during 1961-63, where he held the Chicago Bridge & Iron Scholarship and received the Borden Freshman Award. He prepared for college at Greenville Senior High School in Greenville, PA. At Yale David resided in Pierson and majored in chemistry.
After Yale he earned an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1969.
Dr. Mosher practiced dermatology in the Boston area of Massachusetts and in Nantucket and specialized in skin pigmentation diseases. He was responsible for much research and treatment in this relatively uncharted territory as well as becoming a world-renowned expert in the diagnosis and treatment of vitiligo.
David was also a collector of fine wines, fast cars and British comedy films. A long distance runner, he competed in three marathons before age 46 and had a strong interest in historic preservation and foreign travel.
David died on August 24, 1999 after a lengthy battle with myelofibrosis. He was survived by his wife, Claire Marie; his mother and father, Marion and Paul; two, daughters, Anne and Andrea; a son, Andrew; and a sister, Mary.
